Wembley SUPA IGA is part of The Good Grocer group of stores, specialising in fresh, in store meal preparation. Having realised the benefits of solar at their Applecross store, the business owners were keen to install a solar system at Wembley as well. This required AER to be engaged by the property owner to conduct a feasibility and recommend the most cost effective solution. AER has also been the electricity retailer to this site for a number of years so was able to verify the predictable nature of the electricity demand at the property. A 100 kW solar system and metering solution was installed in late 2017 and is delivering annual savings of approximately $30,000.
