The owner of Aussie Liquor at Stargate Shopping Centre Atwell was keen to cut operating costs using solar, so engaged the property owner to assist by selecting a solar system for the benefit of the tenant. The property owner engaged AER to review the consumption of the Aussie Liquor store and recommend an appropriately sized solar system. The shopping centre currently has ‘multiple master meters’, meaning each tenant has their own Western Power meter. To maximise the benefit to the tenancy, AER also offered a competitive electricity tariff including credit for any excess solar generation as a green export tariff.
